We partner with deserving families to help them build a home that will accommodate their needs and allow the family to live happily and comfortably.

Our volunteers make up the entire work force for our building projects. Without them, we would not have the manpower to make this a reality in the North Country. Many times the families show their gratitude by becoming volunteers themselves. The blessings that our volunteers bring to the lives of these families resound for generations.

As you read through the pages of this site please remember that even the smallest efforts make a BIG difference in the lives of the families enriched by these projects. We encourage you to become a volunteer, make a donation, or just become involved.

We are now 5 weeks into the project. The house is located on Front Street. It is located on the corner of the first block. The volunteers and the family have been working really hard the last 5 weeks to get the basement in. It is starting to actually look like a house! We work every Saturday and are always looking for help. This doesn't mean you have to know how to do a specific trade there is always something for everyone, help getting the meals ready, running errands, organizing the trailer, plus many other things. If you are interested in helping on the site or sending food for our volunteers contact Lisa Brown at 483-4100 or email volunteer@nchabitatforhumanity.com. Every week an email goes out letting you know the progress of the house and what is needed for that week.
